Koleksi Trio Detektif

Salah satu novel ringan tentang kisah detektif. Trio Detektif yang dalam judul aslinya Alfred Hitchcock and the Three Investigators.  Sekitar tahun 2018, berkesempatan memiliki novel-novel dari sepupu yang kebetulan ia jual. Mulailah dari sana coba kumpulin satu persatu.

3 tokoh utama dalam Novel ini :

1. Jupiter "Jupe" Jones, Penyelidik Pertama - mantan aktor cilik dengan nama Baby Fatso, Jupiter adalah seorang yang cerdas dan memiliki ingatan kuat serta kemampuan penalaran dan deduksi. Jupiter adalah anak yatim piatu yang tinggal bersama paman dan bibinya, Titus dan Matilda Jones.
2. Peter "Pete" Crenshaw, Penyelidik Kedua - seorang atlet atletik di sekolahnya yang tidak menyukai situasi berbahaya tetapi sering kali menjadi andalan dalam beberapa situasi yang memerlukan aksi. Ayahnya adalah seorang ahli efek khusus di Hollywood.
3. Robert "Bob" Andrews, Dokumentasi dan Penelitian - digambarkan sebagai seorang kutu buku dan memakai kacamata. Bob bekerja sebagai pegawai paruh waktu di perpustakaan sehingga cocok dengan perannya sebagai pengumpul data. Karena dulu kakinya pernah mengalami cedera, ia ditugaskan di bidang data dan riset. Ia pun menjadi yang paling kurus dan paling tampan di antara rekan lainnya.

Jupiter, Pete dan Bob tinggal di Rocky Beach, sebuah kota pantai kecil fiktif di California Selatan. Digambarkan bahwa kota tersebut berada sekitar 10-12 mil dari Hollywood dan 15 mil dari tengah kota Los Angeles.

Keluarga Jupiter memiliki dan mengoperasikan The Jones Salvage Yard (Pengusaha Barang Bekas Jones) atau The Yard, dimana terletak markas Trio Detektif yang tersembunyi di dalam sebuah truk trailer tua yang juga tersembunyi di tengah-tengah timbunan barang bekas pula. Terdapat beberapa jalan masuk rahasia yang cerdik (seperti Terowongan Dua, Pintu Empat, dsb.)
